A NEW MODIFIED HOMOTOPY PERTURBATION METHOD FOR SOLVING LINEAR SECOND-ORDER FREDHOLM INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
In this paper, we tried to accelerate the rate of convergence in solving second-order Fredholm type Integro-differential equations using a new method which is based on Improved homotopy perturbation method (IHPM) and applying accelerating parameters. This method is very simple and the result is obtained very fast.
متن کاملA METHOD FOR SOLVING FUZZY LINEAR SYSTEMS
In this paper we present a method for solving fuzzy linear systemsby two crisp linear systems. Also necessary and sufficient conditions for existenceof solution are given. Some numerical examples illustrate the efficiencyof the method.
متن کاملPolynomial Upwind Schemes for Hyperbolic Systems
In this paper, we present an upwinding methodology for systems of conservation laws. Our aim is to construct upwind schemes which do not require the extraction of the eigensystem of the jacobian matrix (but just the knowledge of the eigenvalues) and rely on the introduction of an appropriate polynomial approximation. @U @t + @F(U) @x = 0; t > 0; x 2 I R ; (1) avec U(x; t) un etat de l'espace de...
متن کاملFinite Volume Element Method for Second Order Hyperbolic Equations
We discuss a priori error estimates for a semidiscrete piecewise linear finite volume element (FVE) approximation to a second order wave equation in a two-dimensional convex polygonal domain. Since the domain is convex polygonal, a special attention has been paid to the limited regularity of the exact solution. Optimal error estimates in L2, H1 norms and quasioptimal estimates in L∞ norm are di...
متن کاملAn H-galerkin Mixed Method for Second Order Hyperbolic Equations
An H1Galerkin mixed finite element method is discussed for a class of second order hyperbolic problems. It is proved that the Galerkin approximations have the same rates of convergence as in the classical mixed method, but without LBB stability condition and quasi-uniformity requirement on the finite element mesh. Compared to the results proved for one space variable, the L∞(L2)-estimate of the...
